I can’t believe you just walked out on me. After everything we’ve been though,
after all the things I told you, you just gave up. 
You can't change what you refuse to confront. 
Everyone says forgiveness is a lovely idea,
until they have something to forgive.  My life has been better since the day I found you. 
today i thought of you and not much else. 
Only the young and stupid are confident about sex and romance.  I let myself have feelings for you,
despite not knowing how this will end.  When you're attracted to people,
it's because of the details.
Their kindness, their eyes,
the fact that they can get you to laugh
when you need it the most.  I've always wondered what you're thinking when you stare at me. I'm pretty sure I didn’t just meet you for nothing. Good things come to those who wait,
but only the things left by those who hustle. There is a difference; In what we long for,
what we settle for, and who we are meant for. Long nights make me want to text you
and find out where we went wrong. I gave you all the benefits of all the doubts I had. 
Sometimes I feel like the heart and the mind play tricks on each other,
that just when you've got yourself convinced
that this something is what you want,
the other steps in and makes you feel nothing but doubt. I never thought you'd be the one to make me feel like this. 
Sometimes, you have to lose it to appreciate it. When you're afraid to do something chances are,
it's exactly the thing you should be doing. No ones going to love you more then I do. Your beliefs don't make you a better person, your behaviour does. |
